چکیده

Abstract Background: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disorder characterized by impaired metabolism of glucose and lipids due to defect in insulin secretion or action. The association obesity with development type 2 diabetes may be partly mediated altered adipokines adipose tissues which contribute obesity. It has been reported that reduction plasma adiponectin level related the elevation resistance. Aim Study: This study aimed evaluate patients mellitus. Subjects Methods: current examined sixty diabetic (type 2) BMI from 30-40kg/m2 20 age sex matched healthy controls 20-25 kg/m2 . Statistical Analysis: data were tested for normality using Anderson-Darling test homogeneity variances prior further statistical analysis. Results: Adiponectin was significantly lower all compared controls. Lipid profile showing higher levels than In patients, positively correlated High Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol (HDL-C), while it negatively HbA1C, cholesterol, Low (LDL-C), triglyceride micro-albuminuria. Conclusion: plays an important role patho-physiology resistance, diabetes, lipid metab-olism. Reduction resistance associated milletus II. represents very step understand mechanism obesity-induced atherosclerosis. contrast other known adipocyte-derived hormones are generally increased obesity, concentrations serum inversely triglycerides HbA1c DM patients. Decreased obese individuals. fact together promising results experimental studies suggests possibility replacement might become new pharmacological approach treatment and/or atherosclerosis so our recommendations monitoring good predictor glycemic control should used follow-up. Insulin measured effect on level.

Serum Adiponectin and Vaspin levels in Abdominal Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract Objective: Adiponectin and vaspin are adipocyte-derived proteins and involved in the regulation of glucose metabolism and obesity related disorders. The mechanisms that adipokines might be linked to disturbance of glucose are unclear. Thus, this study investigated the levels of serum adiponectin and vaspin, blood lipid profiles, and abdominal obesity in type 2 diabetes (T2DM) patients...

Genetic Polymorphism of Adiponectin, a potential biomarker in Type-II Diabetes Mellitus

Adiponectin (ADIPOQ) is an abundant protein hormone which belongs to a family of adipokines. It is expressed mostly by adipocytes and is an important regulator of lipid and glucose metabolism. It was shown that decreased serum adiponectin concentration indicated insulin resistance in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with the risk of cardiovascular complications. The fact that adiponectin is an i...

Vascular thrombosis in type II diabetes mellitus.

One prevailing point of view is that many individuals with established type II diabetes have gone through years of impairment of glucose tolerance and hyperinsulinism before the appearance of fasting hyperglycemia (1,2). Peripheral insulin resistance plus a pancreatic p-cell insulin secretory defect presumably wage a battle over the years that results ultimately in clinically apparent type II d...

Insulin Receptor Gene Mutations in Iranian Patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus

Background: Patients with diabetes mellitus type II suffer from hyperglycemia because they are not able to use the insulin that they produce, often due to inadequate function of insulin receptors. There are some evidences that this deficiency is inherited in a dominant autosomal manner and leads to the malfunction of the pancreatic beta cells resulting in insulin excretion disorders. In this st...
